About Our Wellbeing Coaches

credentials, Training & Selection Process

At On the Goga, we know that it’s the people who make an organization thrive. That’s why when you book an On the Goga workshop, you’re not just getting an expert—you’re getting a coach who’s been vetted, trained, and continuously supported to deliver high-impact sessions that actually make a difference.

What Makes an On the Goga Coach?

A great coach isn’t just someone with knowledge—they’re someone who can transform knowledge into action. Our coaches are subject-matter experts and skilled facilitators, trained to make wellbeing practical, engaging, and accessible for teams of all backgrounds.

  • While On the Goga workshops are designed for general wellbeing education, most of our coaches do hold advanced degrees and top industry certifications.

  • Others bring years of specialized experience in fields like leadership development, movement science, or financial literacy.

  • Some coaches specialize in a single area, while others are cross-trained across multiple domains through our internal coaching development program, which ensures continuous growth and alignment with the latest wellbeing research.

How we match coaches to workshops

Every On the Goga workshop is led by a coach who is uniquely qualified for that specific session. We hand-select coaches based on their background, experience, and facilitation style to ensure they’re the perfect fit for each audience and topic. Then, we train those coaches on each individual workshop, ensuring they are up to date on the latest peer-reviewed research for that session.

Our Vetting Process: Less Than 1% Make the Cut

We don’t just hire great coaches—we curate an elite team of wellbeing facilitators. Less than 1% of applicants make it through our rigorous selection process, which includes:

  1. Deep Expertise Review – We vet each coach’s education, certifications, and professional experience to ensure they meet our quality standards.

  2. Interview Process – We evaluate not just what they know, but how they share it—through a multi-stage interview process that prioritizes engagement, adaptability, and inclusivity.

  3. Live Demos & Video Auditions – Top applicants go through a live demo and audition process, where we assess their ability to deliver an interactive and meaningful experience.

  4. Inclusivity & Accessibility Training – Every coach, no matter how experienced, goes through our Inclusive Facilitation Training before leading a single session. This ensures that workshops are engaging, psychologically safe, and relevant to diverse audiences.

The Training Doesn’t Stop There

Continuous learning is a core part of our coaching philosophy. We’ve built a system where feedback fuels ongoing growth, ensuring every session is as dynamic and impactful as possible.

  • Ongoing Training & Development – Coaches engage in both structured learning and peer-led mentorship to refine their approach.

  • Real-Time Feedback Loops – We collect insights from workshop participants and fellow facilitators, ensuring every session meets our quality standards.

  • Dedicated Quality Oversight – A dedicated team member tracks coach performance and accuracy, ensuring that every coach continues to deliver at the highest level.

What Happens If a Coach Doesn’t Meet Expectations?

We take quality seriously. If a coach isn’t delivering the experience we expect, we step in with:

  • Targeted training and mentorship to help them level up.

  • Actionable feedback and coaching to refine their delivery.

  • A replacement, if needed, to ensure clients always get a best-in-class experience.

What this means for you

When you book an On the Goga workshop, you can feel confident that you’re getting a coach who has been hand-picked, thoroughly trained, and continuously supported to deliver high-value, engaging experiences that actually resonate with your team.
