JULY Checklist
This must-use promotional checklist walks you through exactly what to share, schedule, and promote to drive engagement with your Wellbeing Hub this month, in 10 minutes or less.
Why Play Matters at Work
Work can become very serious, very quickly. Deadlines, hard conversations, and constant problem-solving can leave employees feeling tense, drained, or stuck in the same way of thinking.
Play is not a distraction from meaningful work. Small moments of play can help teams feel less weighed down by stress. It also helps people think creatively, connect with others, and bring fresh energy to the workday.
Summer can be a helpful reminder that work does not have to be all business. As routines change and many people spend more time outdoors or with family, small moments of fun, creativity, and connection can help employees recharge and stay engaged at work.
Bringing the Theme to Life
🎈 Make Room for Low-Pressure Fun: Add simple moments of play into the workweek, like a light meeting prompt, a shared playlist, or a quick team game. Keep it optional and easy to join.
🎨 Use Play to Spark Creativity: Invite teams to brainstorm without trying to find the “right” answer immediately. Playful thinking helps people explore more ideas before narrowing in on a solution.
🤝 Foster Meaningful Connection: Build in small opportunities for employees to connect beyond tasks, like casual team breaks, themed prompts, or short social check-ins.
🌿 Encourage Playful Movement: Promote simple movement breaks that feel enjoyable. Stretching, walking, dancing, or stepping outside can help people reset their mood and energy.
